List models

What does the models endpoint return, and why is it shorter than the catalog?

GET https://heyaskr.ai/v1/models

Returns every model you can call on the API, in the shape the OpenAI SDKs expect. A key is required.

What is in the list

  • Chat models only. Video, audio and embedding models are not callable here, so they are not listed.
  • Only models with a published rate. A model we cannot bill is not a model we can serve.
  • Not the ids whose provider is currently refusing to serve them. Listed but refused.
  • supportsTools on each entry says whether web_search: true works on it. Additive: SDKs that do not know the field ignore it. Search the web.
  • inputs lists what the model takes beside words: text, then any of image, file (a PDF), audio and video, as the catalogue says. An inline part in a message must be in this list. A file by file_id is routed by it: the file where the kind is listed, its words where it is not. Additive. Files.

What is not in it

Prices and context length. For those use the catalog page, which reads the same feed with everything attached, or the public JSON at /api/models, which needs no key.

There are no query filters on this endpoint. ?type=image and friends are ignored.
